2011 International Autumn Seminar on Propellants, Explosives and Pyrotechnics (2011IASPEP) is to be held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China, September, 2011. The purpose of this seminar remains to provide an up-to-date discussion in the field of PEP and chemical energetic materials in general, with the addition of combustion and detonation phenomenon serving as main topic of the seminar too. The conference language for the Symposium will be English, which will be used for all presentations and printed materials. The registration fee is US$500. This includes one copy of the Proceedings of the Seminar, reception, banquet, meals, coffee breaks and visit. Main topics of discussions will include (but are not limited to):

Pyrotechnics Also other topics related to the R&D of basic principles, technology, application, diagnostics, modeling etc, for PEP as well as combustion and detonation phenomenon. Abstracts for papers must be unclassified, and less than 500 words in length. All abstracts should include purpose, results, significance and comparison with the past. The deadline for receipt of the abstracts is January 10, 2011.
